On Sunday, 19 September 2021, in the morning at 7:20, in Ignalinos district municipality, Velykamiškio village, on the Ceikiniai–Velykamiškis–Šventa regional road (kilometre 2), an Opel Astra rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Opel, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.19‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
