On Sunday, 10 October 2021, in the morning at 10:48, in Alytaus district municipality, Vovų village, on Vovų g. near No. 3, an Opel Astra rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Opel (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
