On Tuesday, 19 October 2021, in the afternoon at 14:40, in Molėtų district municipality, on the Giedraičiai–Bekupė–Želva regional road (kilometre 7.71), a Volkswagen Passat rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 51-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (28 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed.
