On Sunday, 21 November 2021, in the afternoon at 15:19, in Ukmergės district municipality, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 68), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Avensis Verso and a Mercedes-Benz Classe E. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the Toyota, who failed to give way when changing direction. He was drunk (2.67‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
