On Monday, 20 December 2021, in the evening at around 22:00, in Šalčininkų district municipality, Gojaus village, on Sentikių street near No. 7, an Opel Astra hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
