On Saturday, 12 February 2022, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Kaunas, on Karaliaus Mindaugo pr. near No. 49, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 407 and an Opel. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Peugeot (22 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
