On Tuesday, 15 February 2022, in the morning at around 7:00, in Plungės district municipality, on J. Tumo-Vaižganto street near No. 81, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a KIA Motors Sorento and a Volvo V60. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the KIA Motors (18 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
