On Sunday, 27 February 2022, in the morning at 6:39, in Lazdijų district municipality, Rudaminos town, on Piliakalnio street near No. 5, a BMW 320D hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.10‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene.
