On Thursday, 17 March 2022, at night at 0:30, in Radviliškio district municipality, Palonų town, on Palono street near No. 28, a Volvo S80 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Volvo, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.90‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene.
