On Friday, 18 March 2022, in the afternoon at 12:15, in Anykščių district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 84), a MAN TGX registered in Russia hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 52-year-old driver of the MAN (22 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
