On Wednesday, 23 March 2022, in the morning at around 7:00, in Vilnius, on Senosios Pilaitės kel., at the junction with Astikų street, a Mercedes-Benz ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
