On Friday, 25 March 2022, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Elektrėnų municipality, on the Vievis–Maišiagala–Nemenčinė national road (kilometre 1), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Fiat Ducato and a BMW. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Fiat (2 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. Both drivers were sober.
