On Saturday, 9 April 2022, in the evening at 22:30, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 135), a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Skoda Octavia Combi, a Ford Ranger and a Toyota. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Skoda, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.90‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
