On Sunday, 17 April 2022, in the afternoon at 13:37, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Žibartoniai–Ibutoniai regional road (kilometre 0.30), a moped hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of a moped, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.68‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
