On Saturday, 23 April 2022, in the afternoon at 11:15, in Širvintų district municipality, on the Širvintos–Bagaslaviškis–Kaliakiemiai regional road (kilometre 8.92), a Ford Focus rolled over. Two people were injured — a 1-year-old passenger of the Ford (hospitalized) and a 36-year-old passenger of the Ford (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Ford (21 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
