On Sunday, 1 May 2022, at night at around 23:00, in Jonavos district municipality, Ilgabradų village, on Plento street, a Seat Ibiza registered in Ukraine hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Seat (13 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, there was fog, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
