On Wednesday, 4 May 2022, in the evening at 20:15, in Kaunas, on R. Kalantos street near No. 38, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 3ER Reihe and a Solaris Trollino 12. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the BMW (16 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. She was drunk (2.27‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
