On Friday, 6 May 2022, in the morning at 10:49, in Elektrėnų municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 36), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 68-year-old driver of the Ford (50 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober.
