On Sunday, 1 May 2022, in the evening at around 17:00, in Alytaus district municipality, Kaimynų village, on the Alytus–Simnas–Kalvarija national road (kilometre 29.80), a vehicle ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene.
