On Sunday, 8 May 2022, in the evening at 20:01, in Kaunas, on Jonavos street near No. 1F, a vehicle hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of a vehicle, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
