On Tuesday, 10 May 2022, in the evening at 20:30, in Šilalės district municipality, Didkiemio village, on Jūros street near No. 16, at the junction with Žvejų street, a moped hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of a moped, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
