On Friday, 13 May 2022, in the afternoon at 14:40, in Mažeikių district municipality, on V. Burbos street, at the junction with J. Basanavičiaus street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Touran registered in Latvia and a Renault Megane Scenic.
