On Sunday, 15 May 2022, in the morning at 10:20, in Vilnius, on Antakalnio street near No. 98, a Honda Jazz hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 56-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 83-year-old driver of the Honda (28 years of driving experience), who was taken ill at the wheel. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
