On Friday, 3 June 2022, at night at around 2:00, in Raseinių district municipality, Nemakščių town, on Žemaičių street near No. 12, a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a Mazda 5. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Mazda, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (0.45‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
