On Wednesday, 8 June 2022, in the evening at 21:47, in Elektrėnų municipality, Skirmantiškių village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 33), an Opel Insignia Limousine HB rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Opel (11 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was raining, the road surface was wet.
