On Wednesday, 15 June 2022, at night at 1:45, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 86.84), a BMW hit an animal. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the BMW (10 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober.
