On Tuesday, 7 June 2022, at night at around 0:00, in Kaunas, on Chemijos street near No. 7, in a yard, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Iveco 35S14 and a Volvo S40. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 61-year-old driver of the Iveco (30 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
