On Tuesday, 21 June 2022, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 134), a Scania hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the Scania (25 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). The Scania had recorded faults (padangų). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
