On Sunday, 3 July 2022, in the evening at 20:30, in Visagino municipality, on Gulbinio street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 307 and a Toyota Yaris. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
