On Wednesday, 13 July 2022, in the evening at 19:10, in Kaunas, on Raudondvario pl. near No. 131, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra-G-Caravan and a BMW. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Opel (8 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
