On Tuesday, 19 July 2022, in the evening at 18:30, in Prienų district municipality, on the Antakalnis–Jieznas–Alytus–Merkinė national road (kilometre 21), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the Maserati (18 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober.
