On Thursday, 21 July 2022, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Šiaulių district municipality, Visgirdų village, on Visgirdų street near No. 17, a Toyota Auris hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 61-year-old driver of the Toyota (42 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. He fled the scene.
