On Monday, 25 July 2022, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Kupiškio district municipality, Rudilių village, on Šineliškių street near No. 49, a Volkswagen hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (3.49‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
