On Sunday, 31 July 2022, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Alytaus district municipality, on the Alytus–Ūdrija–Krokialaukis regional road (kilometre 5.50), a BMW 530 D rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
