On Thursday, 4 August 2022, at night at 0:25, in Rokiškio district municipality, Raišių village, on Darbininkų street near No. 8, a Volkswagen Passat registered in Great Britain ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.86‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
