On Friday, 19 August 2022, in the evening at 19:05, in Šiaulių district municipality, on Tylos street near No. 8, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a moped and an Audi Q5. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of a moped (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
