On Sunday, 21 August 2022, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Anykščių district municipality, Rundžių village, on Žemaitkiemio street, a Daihatsu Charade rolled over. One person died — the 71-year-old driver of the Daihatsu (was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 71-year-old driver of the Daihatsu (40 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.66‰ blood alcohol).
