On Thursday, 25 August 2022, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kretingos district municipality, Klibių village, on Topolių street near No. 1, at the junction with Salantų street, a Toyota Auris ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the Toyota, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
