On Sunday, 28 August 2022, in the evening at 21:24, in Marijampolės municipality, on Birštono street near No. 18, a vehicle hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 32-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. He fled the scene.
