On Saturday, 10 September 2022, at night at 0:10, in Tauragės district municipality, Batakių town, on Ateities street near No. 26, a Peugeot 206 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.49‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
