On Saturday, 10 September 2022, in the afternoon at 13:42, in Šilutės district municipality, on the Sakūčiai–Žemaitkiemis regional road (kilometre 4.11), a Mercedes-Benz E63AMG ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
