On Monday, 19 September 2022, in the morning at 10:42, in Šakių district municipality, Griškabūdžio town, on Rygiškių street near No. 15, a VTZ Vmtz T25A2 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 12-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 86-year-old driver of the VTZ Vmtz (60 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. The driver was sober.
