On Monday, 19 September 2022, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kaunas, on Vaidoto street near No. 159, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz and an Opel. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (20 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
