On Tuesday, 20 September 2022, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Jonavos district municipality, on the Jonava–Žasliai–Kalniniai Mijaugonys national road (kilometre 2), a Scania hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Scania (20 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
