On Tuesday, 11 October 2022, at night at 4:44, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Varėna–Gardinas main road (kilometre 24.20), an Audi A4 Avant rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Audi (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.04‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was twilight, there was fog, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
