On Saturday, 15 October 2022, in the evening at 19:05, in Jonavos district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta k. pusė) main road (kilometre 18), a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Chrysler (26 years of driving experience), who failed to obey traffic-control signals. He refused a sobriety test.
