On Sunday, 23 October 2022, at night at 4:15, in Kaunas, on Pramonės pr. near No. 20A, a BMW ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (0.74‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
