On Thursday, 24 November 2022, at night at around 2:00, in Alytaus district municipality, Kriaunių village, on Pievų street near No. 2, a BMW 320D hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 16-year-old driver of the BMW, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
