On Friday, 25 November 2022, at night at 4:55, in Alytaus district municipality, on the Kiti keliai local road (kilometre 4), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320D registered in Estonia and a BMW 3ER Reihe. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the BMW 320D (15 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
