On Saturday, 3 December 2022, in the evening at around 22:00, in Mažeikių district municipality, on Kalnėnų street near No. 32, a vehicle ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
